Initial Canvas Art

I am sure you have all seen these floating around Pinterest. I could never find how people made them. So, I decided to share with you all my attempt at making some initial canvas art. I love how they turned out! They are seriously so easy. It took about 20 minutes to make each one and about 15 of that is probably only because I am incredibly OCD when it came to the letters and how the buttons were arranged.
 What you need:
Canvas (I bought a two pack at Hobby Lobby)
1/4 yd of Fabric
Buttons
Hot Glue Gun
Staple Gun
1. Lay the fabric with the design side facing down.
2. Lay your canvas on the fabric leaving about a 1 1/2" of extra fabric. Make sure that is enough to reach over to the back side and cover all of the actual canvas part.
3. Cut out the fabric to desired size.
 4. Staple the fabric. The best way to go about the stapling is do the two long sides first, and then do the ends as if you are wrapping a present. Make sure to pull it tight so there is no gapping.
 5. Flip over canvas and arrange letters in desired location for letter.
6. One by one lift the buttons and hot glue in place.

So easy! These would make for very inexpensive yet adorable Christmas gifts as well! Good luck!

Also, don't forget to share your Christmas traditions here. We have received some great ones and are still looking for more to compile into one giant list for everyone! Thanks!!
